  • Rotation is lossless — it rewrites page orientation flags, not pixels
  • Apply 270° for pages scanned sideways in the opposite direction to 90°

Fixing scans

  • Sideways scans: 90° once, check, then another 90° if needed.
  • Upside-down pages: 180° in a single pass.

Currently you can rotate all selected pages by the same angle. For different angles, process pages separately.

Does rotation change file size?

No. Rotation only changes the page orientation metadata. The file size stays the same.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted PDFs cannot be processed. Unlock the file first using your PDF reader.

Will this fix pages that are upside down?

Yes. Use 180° rotation to flip upside-down pages. For pages rotated 90° counterclockwise, use 270° (or -90°).

Can I combine rotation with merging or splitting?
