What happens to the original PDF?
The original PDF is not modified. You download a new PDF containing only the extracted pages.
How is this different from split PDF?
Extract lets you visually select pages by clicking. Split uses text-based page ranges. Both produce the same result — choose whichever workflow you prefer.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Click individual pages to select them. They don't need to be adjacent.
Does extraction preserve bookmarks and links?
Bookmarks and hyperlinks that point within the extracted pages are preserved. Links to pages outside the extracted range will be broken.
Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?
No. Encrypted PDFs cannot be processed. Unlock the file first using your PDF reader.
